The Strange Quiet

Everyone is gone tonight. Well, except me and the cat…Jenni and the kids are out for the night and won’t be home until tomorrow night.

They’re at the 30 Hour Famine, a fundraiser to help combat hunger in the world.

So I’m here in a big quiet house, hearing the cat periodically go round and cry as if she was looking for them.

Oh, I’ve been busy, trying to pick up a bit here in the man cave, enjoy some down time , and just try to relish the alone time a little bit. That isn’t to say I’ve really accomplished anything: sure, the man cave is neater now, but as for actually accomplishing things around the house, that lands in the “not so much” category.

So, I’ve wasted a lot of time, it’s late, and I need to get some sleep. See you tomorrow.
