I’ve got the luxury of a 4-day work week this week, thanks to the fact that the girls start Spring Break on Friday, so I’m taking some time off to “watch” them.
So tomorrow is my last day of work for the week, and, unfortunately, the last day handling e-mailed tickets for a while. It’s been like old home week, for these last two weeks: working out of a bucket, handling tickets that have been sent in, approaching the job in a more orderly fashion. It’s comfortable–what I’ve been accustomed to for the last 4 years.
I closed more tickets in the last 2 weeks than anyone else in my team, and currently have fewer open than anyone else, either. Of course, I need to have as many closed as possible by the time I leave tomorrow, but I’m not foreseeing a problem. Apparently, though, if our team hits some goals, we all get some sort of reward offered to us…
So…What do I have planned for the four days off from work (yes, I’m going back to work on Thursday next week)? I don’t know. I haven’t fully fleshed it out or made plans. Probably some work clearing out the gardens and yard out back. I need to tear down the computers on my desk and put it back, just to get the cable clutter and other mess under control.
But, as usual, this week has been busy–scouts, church, Jenni’s getting ready for a weekend trip to Chicago for a friend’s wedding. And Easter, while close, is still a full week-plus off.
So much to do, so little time, right? Ah, but the bonus is that I only have a 2 day work week next week…Smart…
See you tomorrow.
